Last weekend Paul & I had our Bridal Shower in Brookfield, IL. The bridal shower was unique in that it was centered around our trip to Tanzania. The gifts that we received were all things we need for this trip (including money for health care, food, transportation, etc.). It was an immense help (and relief) to get so many things for our trip covered by our generous friends and family (THANK YOU!). Even the entertainment followed theme. My mom's friend with a fellow dancer performed with some amazing drummers at the event- apparently doing an African fertility dance! It was a great time and is helping us realize how soon our wedding and and departure really are!
